About us
SkillStars provides primary tuition for children aged 5–11 at Northwood Stadium – The Pavilion, Keelings Road, Stoke-on-Trent.
Booking and enrolment
Registering your interest is not a contract. A place is confirmed once we have discussed your child's needs, agreed a package and payment has been received. Places are limited and offered on a first-come basis.
Fees and payment
Fees are shown on the Packages page. Payments are taken securely through Stripe. Where a package is a recurring monthly payment, it continues until cancelled. Card details are never collected or stored by SkillStars.
Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel a recurring package with 30 days' notice, effective at the end of the current paid period. Where you have a statutory right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days, that right applies. Sessions missed without notice cannot normally be refunded, but we will always try to be reasonable — please talk to us.
Attendance and behaviour
Children must be dropped off and collected by a responsible adult. We ask that children treat staff, other children and the venue with respect. We reserve the right to end tuition where behaviour prevents others from learning safely.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is taken seriously and we follow appropriate procedures for reporting concerns. Please tell us about any medical, additional or access needs before sessions begin.
Sessions we cannot run
If a session cannot go ahead for reasons within our control we will offer a replacement session or a credit.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise our liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected sessions.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
